Senior News You Can Use

The Blue Island Senior Office is looking for a caring, compassionate person to do light housekeeping for senior citizens--several hours a week, does not require heavy lifting, and you must have a car. Please inquire in-person at the Senior Office, 13051 Greenwood Ave, Blue Island Il 60406.

We have big plans in the works for the week of June 10th thru June 13th , called. Browse Blue Island. We are working on a lot of fun-filled events for all of our senior/ 50+ to enjoy, including a raffle for wonderful prizes. More about this to come!

Just a reminder: There are still seats available for our trip to the Botanical Gardens on Wednesday, May 21. The bus leaves at 8:30 A.M. and returns around 3:30 P.M. The cost for this lovely trip is $25.00. Please call the Senior office @ (708) 396-7085 for reservations.

We would like to extend a special thank you to all our seniors/50+ who responded to our plea to make calls regarding St. Francis Hospital. You all let your voices be heard! Please continue to make calls and share the info with your family and friends.
