Happy New Year to our Senior/50+ Group, we hope 2010 brings you really
good health and a lot of hopefulness!

Metro South Medical Center will be having a Lunch & Learn on “Sleep Disorders”
presented by Dr. Prakash Vaishnav and Dr. Anas Nahhas on Thursday,
January 14th, 2010 from Noon to 1:30 pm. This event is free for Senior’s/50+.
You must R.S.V.P. by January 8th by calling the Senior Office @ 708-396-7085
to reserve your seat.

Senior Suites of Faye’s Point will be hosting an informational session on
Thursday, January 28th, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the City Hall East Annex located at
2434 Vermont St. Senior Suites is set to open in March, 2010. This is a Rental
Community for Senior’s age 62 and up. The completed Senior Suites will
provide 90 aff ordable priced apartments. The monthly rent will include: All
utilities, monthly housekeeping, and weekly transportation to area shopping
and free parking lot. Finally Senior living in Blue Island!

We in the Senior Office are looking forward to a busy new year working
with all of you and helping whenever we can. We are very busy planning new
trips and some very exciting events to come, which will be shared with you in
