Looking Ahead

Blue Island's Independence Day Parade will be held on July 4th, and the Fireworks Show will be at dusk at Eisenhower Stadium, 127th & Sacramento Avenue the same evening. $1 for adults and all children or buy bracelet for free admission.the same evening. The 2008 theme is “Blue Island, Heart of America”. Entry forms are available at the City Clerk's Office, 13051 Greenwood Avenue. There is no entry fee. Donations may be made payable to “City of Blue Island July 4th” and sent to the Clerk's Office. If you need additional information, please call 708-396-7004.
