St. Benedict

As a tribute to Blue Island officials and business, St. Benedict celebrated our town. The Mayor, Police and Fire Department, as well as local businesses received accolades from the children who had previously visited many of our facilities. Mrs. Rys, Principal and Father Ismael Sandoval spoke during the presentation, but those adorable children (preschool through grade 5) presented honors, tipped their hats, and thanked the community — “for all you do.”

The FORUM, extends thanks for the very complimentary remarks during the ceremony — although it truly was our pleasure to have the preschoolers visit our offices.
